She can't tell you who, because they don't exist!

Lisa,

I told you, there is no one sweetie. I'm sorry, but if there were they'd say you got big dimples..Hey how can you eat egg rolls anyway, I'm dying for solid foods.

Leatha, I have good reason to be concerned. Margret's borderline harassment and stalking is frightening in today's world. Why was she lurking in my profile yesterday after she already knows everything about me? How does she know everything about me? She's spying on me. She sent e-mails to my very private e-mail address. It's freaky that a complete stranger wants to know all my private information. Her e-mail said "you better be careful." What's that supposed to mean? It's damn creepy.

Megan, thanks for spreading the sunshine. xo

Sometimes you just gotta laugh, Michelle. Keeps you from crying.

Well said, darlin'. That's pretty much how it's been with that precocious daughter of mine. Just keep smiling and stick to my guns, even though I feel like falling apart.

I sure could use an end to the rain we're having, though. Nothing lifts my spirits more than either a) sunshine, or :D snow. Right now it's just grey grey grey. It's enough to give you the blahs.

I love it too, but in December we should be up to our butt cheeks in beautiful, white, fluffy snow. Instead we have a thick layer of ice over everything, and it's pouring down rain. It doesn't get more "yuck" than that.

I'm waiting for the frogs and locusts next. :D

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
