TJs_Dad2012 246 Posted May 7, 2016 Hello, i started my journey in January of this year when i was told o was diabetic and pretty much on the way to the hole if i continued my ways. I was told to lose 30 pounds but i lost 51 by the day of my surgery. I started at 370 and weighed in 4 days ago at 307. I feel great being 10 days post op aside from a little sourness on my right side. Other than that...having a great time not having to work lol. Here's a before and after for yall.. TJs_Dad2012 246 Posted May 12, 2016 Congrats man! Having surgery mid-late June myself. Have you been adjusting pretty well?On 22 days of liquid only...6 more days until my appointment to see if I go to mushy foods. Other than that, not too bad. It's a life changer so make sure you're life has changed before going into surgery. I cut sugar, carbs, and a lot of fried foods 3 months before surgery so that i wasn't in crave mode after Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

I have cravings from time to time, but my main problem is quantity. Even if it's salad, the quantity I can eat is fit for a king. It was always difficult to curb my hunger, so I'm relying on this surgery to slow things down hah!
LisaMergs 2,854 Posted May 14, 2016 Oddly enough, you WILL find that post op you won't mind the quantity- in fact, it will be hard to get it all in!
