starting liquid diet tomorrow(13th of Aug)

I am scared to death of this new way of life I am trying to achieve. I am diabetic and I still do not have good info on the liquid diet. I have to have something to prevent low blood sugars. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

Try Glucerna. It seemed to keep my sugar levels on an even keel. The chocolate is good and I made a boo boo last time I was at the store and ;picked up butter pecan by mistake. Maybe not a mistake. It was really good.

You need to be sure and get in lots of Protein every day....it keeps your sugar from bouncing and will help you stay on an even keel. Being diabetic myself I was scared to death of what a liquid diet would do to me.....by drinking 2-3 high Protein Shakes a day I didn't have any trouble at all. (Was completely off all diabetic meds within 3-4 mo after wls, too, and am doing good).

Thanks for answering!!! I am really impressed with your success. So far, I am doing ok on the liquids; hungry some, but not too bad. Congrats on your success. I am hoping the same for myself!!!!
