glickliter 7 Posted May 6, 2016 I am new at this, just starting the process... But my I ask how much you've lost so far?? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
leahhindi 65 Posted May 6, 2016 I am new at this too...my surgery is scheduled for this Monday; however, I've been reading about this surgery for years so a few questions for you: Have you changed anything recently that has led to this slow down? Same amount of Protein? Meeting Protein requirements and eating protein first? Same amount of Water? Have you added or eliminated Snacks? We are all so different but maybe we can help you pinpoint if this was caused by a change. I am sure someone more experienced will let you know if this is common. I have read that a lot of others do a "reset" when things slow down or stall. I think the reset is just Protein Shakes and Water but you should DEFINITELY not take my word for it. Best of luck to you in your continued success! Even if it is slower than you would like, the scale is still definitely moving in the right direction and that is what counts the most. Be proud of your enormous accomplishment and go easy on yourself! :-)

Babbs 14,681 Posted May 6, 2016 Yup, it happens. You have to help it along at some point by either reducing/upping calories and increasing activity to move things along because our bodies get complacent after a while.
