I am ravenously hungry today the only thing that I can attribute it to is the cortisone shots I got in my feet today. Has anyone else ever had this happen and how long will it last.

Are you diabetic? They can sometimes screw with your blood sugar. I wouldn't be surprised if it made you hungry. All I can remember from mine was the pain.

I am 4 weeks and I get hungry every now and then...although everyone says its head hunger...I just stick to the 4 oz of yogurt/baby food/mush per meal until 7-9weeks when I can start solids and apparently after a month or so you should feel "real" hunger.

As a DSer eat however much Protein you want (of the types you're permitted at this stage). I sometimes take meds. that make me hungrier than usual. I'll just eat a steak for a snack or keep popping cashews.

I remember eating a lot of those. Just make sure the sugar alcohols aren't giving you the runs.

I can tell you I've had to take steroids a lot I've the years for my asthma, and I was always ravenous ! A painful hunger. Thus, all the extra weight.

I don't have to do that much any more, thank goodness. But I did have my knee injected last year, and reacted the same. Shouldn't last but a couple days! Good luck!
