I'm still pre-surgery but was told to eat very small meals/snacks 5-6 times a day. Concentrate on Protein.

I have to do a 6 month supervised diet so by the time surgery comes around I'm afraid I'll despise everything I'll be able to eat. Are you still on liquids?

I was probably supposed to be but am not. It was a 2 week liquid diet. Today is 15 days but I've had some soft foods for about 5 days now. I was so weak, to wash my hair was a serious chore.

I've tolerated everything well. Avocados... and some squash/zucchini/onions I put in foil and grilled have been by far my 2 favorite things.

6 months is ridiculous. Is that because your doctor said so or an insurance thing?

Your taste completely seems to change after the operation and liquids. All the artificial sweet flavors of the shakes...seriously make my want to throw up.

That's awful. I had to do 3 months. Otv seemed like an eternity to think about, but then it all happened so quickly at the same time.

I'm 6 weeks post op, I've eaten pretty much anything and everything so far (besides high sugar or greasy foods). I've had no dumping. By 15 days I was eating chicken, tuna, eggs, and cooked veggies. I was actually just complaining about how I feel like I'm always hungry and eating too much :/

I'm down 36lbs. I'm having a hard time mentally though, so, I need to make some appts to meet with my team.
