I'm freezing cold ever since surgery!

I'm ALWAYS COLD AS WELL!! I've always been TO HOT!! I like being cold! So much better then being hot!! Post op two weeks tomorrow. My surgery was April 21

Oh wow, I thought this was just isolated to me only! I stay cold ever since I had my surgery. I live in Texas and just the other day it was 96 degrees and I was thankful to feel the heat while others complained. I wonder will this be forever. I kind of don't mind sometimes. But when I go to bed, I have on socks, a gown, a robe and 2 blankets and a comforter and I'm still cold.

I'm 2 weeks post op and freezing all the time. I used to always be hot. I'll ask the doctor Monday and see what he says.

I haven't had my thyroid checked for a while but it has been normal each time. I will say something at my next appointment of the Iron supplements do not work

Your body is going back to normal I froze after surgery lasted 3 wks. Not freezing as much but it comes and goes

I addition to Vitamins, I think mild hypogylcemia (low blood sugar) could be a factor here. I am not saying to eat snickers bars, but make sure you are eating enough, and some healthy carbs, those with soluble Fiber - i,e, fruits, legumes, and low sugar oatmeal, will give a dose of carbs, but absorbed gradually, spread out over time instead of a sudden sharp spike.
