I feel great actually. The doc and nurses are pretty shocked but I feel amazing. Walking everywhere and doing things myself

I have a hard time with the milky shakes during my liquid diet stage. I'm going to get some of the lsopure Protein Drinks. A lot of people are drinking those post op. That might me easier to get down.

Thanks. The hospital ended up giving me something called Unjury which was better but I'm just not a happy camper this early into it. I get my drain removed tomorrow. Not looking forward to that either.

Yes. They mixed it with water. Tasted like a cold hot chocolate.

Well I haven't had pain meds since 9 pm last night. I also had my upper GI today and everything went well. God willing I'll be discharged today

My surgery was 6/7 - so 3 1/2 weeks out.

All pain is gone - I'm starting to eat soft foods and down 26 pounds.

Please hang in there, it does get better!
