may.demers 1 Posted May 4, 2016 I had my surgery on April 18th and was I nervous but to my surprise once the surgeon came into the operation room he said okay and I don't recollect anything I stayed in the hospital for only one day which I guess was good because I had the room to myself and was bored my lips were so chapped after surgery I couldn't pee and it took over a week to make a bowel movement and I fell off the wagon knowing if I ate chocolate I could poop I had huge black n blues on my belly but I used bacitracin on the incisions which has helped if I drink right after I eat I get hiccups it was hard to get in the 2 quarts of Water but I'm sure that's how you lose weight you barley consume food Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Ele marie 92 Posted May 14, 2016 I had my surgery April 20th I was in pre-op room next thing I know they said Richiele...and I thought ok here we go for surgery and they said no you are done! I said are you kidding? I have no memory of any of it. I stayed 3 days. I was in for my birthday. I also had my own room my husband stayed with me and helped me with going to the bathroom and walking. But I do not remember anything except what my husband says. I had the gastric bypass.
