4 total: 3 which were re-used from my gallbladder surgery from last year, and 1 port incision.

I have 8, 2 big and 6 small. I would have had 7 but the first one was an 'Oops, that was a little too high.' At least it was a small one.

I only have three. Two small ones and one that is an inch and a half long. I am pretty sure my two small ones will not leave a permanent scar, if they do it will be hardly visable. They will blend in with the freckles I have in that area.

My Dr. tried a newer method wher she went through my belly button so I have one from my port and one other small one.

I only had 3 - one in the belly button, one to the left where the port is and one above. :) Banded this past Monday the 21st of June and have lost 7lbs 4oz already. I love this band.

Single incision, through my navel. I can only see it if I stretch out my navel, otherwise you can't tell at all. :(

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
