esanchez4563 1 Posted May 3, 2016 I've been on my liquid diet for 3 weeks and have my sleeve surgery May 9th. I've only lost 11 lbs and I'm scared I'm not going to have lost enough or shrunk my liver enough to have my surgery. I'm sure this is just fear but encouragement helps. Anyone have similar situation or feel the same way?? Sent from my SM-N910T using the BariatricPal App
KristenLe 5,979 Posted May 3, 2016 If you've stuck to the diet you should be fine. It's more about your liver shrinking than pounds on the scale. Did your Surgeon tell you an amount of weight you needed to lose?

Did your Surgeon tell you an amount of weight you needed to lose?No just the liquid diet for 3 weeks. They are more concerned about the liver shrinking. I've stuck to it pretty good. Out of these 3 weeks I've only had two days that I slipped up and ate something solid. The rest of the time I've stuck to the Protein shakes, Soups, yogurt and such Sent from my SM-N910T using the BariatricPal App
