brie34 10 Posted April 30, 2016 Hello everyone! I'm new here....but so glad I found this forum! My date is May 31. I live in Virginia Beach but I'm having surgery about 45 minutes away from home. My surgeon only requires a 1 day liquid preop diet. Everyone seems to have 2 weeks so I'm wondering why he's different. I'm definitely going to ask him about this during my preop appointment on may 23. They gave me the choice of May 19th but our family is going to Florida a week after that.....so they advised to wait until I get back from trip....so May 31 it is! Some pain at the large incision site mainly but overall not bad. Are you up and about now? I am still feeling sore walking and and sitting up but not bad overall. How about yourself?
