Pre-Op and Post-Op liquid diet

Hi! I'm wondering if anyone knows of any places or brands that sell inexpensive Protein shakes/powders? Having to drink them before surgery and after will get pricy and I'm just looking for some good quality and inexpensive ones! Thanks in advance!

Carnation Breakfast essentials are relatively inexpensive. GNC oftentimes has sales. You can also save money with a membership. Premier Protein periodically goes on sale at Sam's Club and costco. I stock up when they have sales.

I like it. I would suggest you get samples of any Protein supplement to try before you invest in large tubs.

You can get sample packs from Unjury.< /p>

You may also want to get a sampler assortment of Syntrax nectar to try.

One of my favorite clear Proteins for my clear phase was ProtiDiet liquid Beverage Concentrates.

Ive been doing six star that you get at Walmart. 20 bucks for a big tub. If its all you are consuming, its easy to afford. Much cheaper than regular food. Ive been replacing lunch with a shake for about 3 months now so I can get used to drinking them and help lose before surgery

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
