B_D 54 Posted April 29, 2016 Hey everyone. I had my surgery Tuesday and I know it's only been 2 days but for those of you that had a lot of pain in your abdomen how long till it got better? My left incision is extremely bruised and so sore. Very difficult to get around. I managed to walk about 13 minutes today, aside from the walking I did around the house. No pain med seems to help. myrizzy 41 Posted April 29, 2016 I feel your pain! I started feeling better by the 4th or 5th day. Still tender but it was more bearable. Hang in there. Each day gets better. love4life 9 Posted April 29, 2016 Today is day 8 since surgery sand still a little sore. I feel great though. I was actually considering starting my aerobics class back up on Monday. becomingmandikaye 262 Posted April 29, 2016 I can't speak to this specific surgery (yet), but I had my gall bladder removed back in 2009, which is a similar laparoscopic procedure. I had very little incision pain, but the pain in my abdominal muscles was pretty terrible for several days. I had to hold a pillow to my abdomen to get out of bed or switch positions in bed.
