Heather I 500 Posted April 26, 2016 Has anyone who had a panniculectomy/TT also had their FUPA (sorry! Don't know a nice way to describe it) also modified/trimmed up during surgery? Is that done? I haven't had sleeve surgery yet, but I'm expecting there to be extra material there and didn't know if that's considered a separate area to tweak ($$) or if it's pulled tight enough with the TT/panni? Thanks in advance!
WLSResources/ClothingExch 3,444 Posted April 26, 2016 The vulva can be surgically refreshed. How's that? I'm sure someone else will come along who can go into greater depth. So to speak, that is.
Babbs 14,681 Posted April 26, 2016 It's pulled tight with the TT/Panni. It's kind of part of the whole surgery from what I understand.
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted April 26, 2016 I had a consult with a surgeon who told me that FUPA (or as I call mine, DUPA - Droopy Upper Pubic Area) tightening is included as part of a 360 body lift or a tummy tuck/panniculectomy.

Julie norton 2,850 Posted April 26, 2016 My doctor did a bit of Lipo there and the front area ( which seemed large in my work out pants)was pulled up during my TT. Ask your surgeon if that is included. I'm thinking it is common to have droopiness after weight loss. I was pleased with the results . Good luck! Ps. It hurt a bit ( ok a lot)the first week. Just know it gets better quickly as time goes on! Ok I guess we can say mons as in mons pubis.... That for me was kinda a fat pad that was changed during my TT .
