See a therapist about any serious food or stress issues. Throw away all your big clothes. Develop and invest in hobbies, avocations, passions that feed your soul and burn calories. Stop postponing your life. Do it now. Eat nutritious food. Your body deserves it.

B-52 7,113 Posted April 26, 2016 I simply continued doing what I have been doing since surgery....and it improves all the time with discoveries of new and different healthy foods... For me, it has always been about a new lifestyle, change in what and how I eat brought upon me by surgery....I have never had a diet mentalit, there is no such thing as maintenance, etc, etc. 5+ years now and I live every day just like any other day. But that's the way it is for me, many people here have different attitudes towards this.
CowgirlJane 14,260 Posted April 26, 2016 And the longer you are out from reaching goal... the more important this one thing has become for me... do NOT let denial sneak in. Whatever your method of accountability is - for me it is the scale - don't ignore it because you have over indulged. You start to forget that you ARE different than the people around you and you can't do what others do and maintain a healthy weight. Its alot easier to stop the scale from creeping up than to have to relose. It is alot easier to relose 10# than 25 etc.....
