What phase are you on? Full liquids?

We can't help you without more to go on. What do the instructions from your surgeon say, exactly? Postop instructions vary widely. You could be on either Clear Liquids, full liquids, or even purees at this stage.

You're only 1 week out. Yogurt, soft-cooked scrambled eggs, perhaps a *small portion* of well cooked spinach/ricotta ravioli... I know the routine can be monotonous, but be patient.

It sounds like you need to read your packet.

I read mine multiple times a day for a good month. If you are confused about your program: 1) read the materials provided by your surgeon/NUT and 2) if you are still confused, call and ask.

My packet says 1 week of Clear Liquids, 2nd week is full liquids like Protein shakes but no soft foods or puree until after week 3 so I guess it varies a lot. I'm surprised some people are saying eggs and such it's still so sore for me to swallow even liquids. Then again I did have a large hiatal hernia repair done at the same time too so not sure if that's why my doctor wants to be extra careful.

That's about right. What you posted. I could have sugar free Jello and sugar free popsicles saved me!! Good luck

My postop transitions were a lot more conservative than some of the others posted here....

1-3 days Clear liquid

4-18 days Full liquids

19-29 days pureed food

30-42 days soft food

42+ Days regular food except seeds, skins, nuts and other crunchy stuff which were forbidden until 3 months

I actually transitioned slower than the above plan to allow my sleeve plenty of time to heal and get used to different foods. made for a very easy recovery.

As you can see there are very different plans, so If you don't understand the information given to you, definitely call your nut or surgeon.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
