csawesome 181 Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) These are capri's I couldn't wear last summer, they were way too tight. So despite the scale not moving since 1 week post op, clearly something is happening. Edited April 24, 2016 by csawesome

choicemun 111 Posted April 24, 2016 Dame right!!! My scale hasn't moved either, but I definitely see all the inches coming off and that makes me so happy. ????
Blondie 6388 83 Posted April 24, 2016 (edited) It's hard to not see the scale move but the reward is putting on clothes that you couldn't wear or were to tight and now there loose or way to big. I don't own a scale anymore and I don't think I'm getting another. Keep up the great job Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App Edited April 24, 2016 by Blondie 6388
floflo1973 4 Posted April 26, 2016 I taught I was the only one I've had my surgery 3 weeks ago I've only lost 10lb and the scale has not budge since I taught maybe the surgery didn't work for me, especially when family are negative Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted April 26, 2016 @@floflo1973 A lot of people don't lose rapidly until 6 weeks post-op. I lost the most weight months 3-6. Just stick to your plan. Most of your stomach is missing, your muscles have been cut, your body is freaking out and most of its energy is going to repairing itself. The weight loss will come. csawesome 181 Posted April 26, 2016 I know, I know. Knowing that it's normal, knowing that it doesn't mean you will fail are helpful. But at some point I still wanna be mad, doesn't mean I am giving up, or think I failed. Just means I am mad, I am jealous, and I want some some recognition for my hard work to show in the numbers. I am not needy all the time, but sometimes seeing those numbers not move since week 1, and now going on three weeks of the same numbers... I think it's fair to be annoyed. KWIM? It's also hard because some people lose weight the quickest in the first 6 weeks, others don't really getting started until later. It's nice to hear something new. New kids like me get it, but doesn't mean we have to like it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
sja 38 Posted April 26, 2016 I haven't lost any weight since April 1! My surgery was Feb 23 and I'm only down about 26 lbs since surgery. Admittedly, I'm frustrated and have been eating more junk because of it and feeling crappy. I think I need to spend more time here, getting inspiration. Thanks for sharing! csawesome 181 Posted April 27, 2016 My old habit was to eat bad choices when I would stall on diets in the past. I am resisting the urge. I just keep keeping, hoping one day I wake up and a few pounds will be gone. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
