What do you do for Gas Pain?

I had my sleeve done over 1 year ago, sometimes I get the most awful painful gas in my stomach that I have to stop whatever I'm doing and lay down and pray. It usually lasts about 20 minutes and I feel like I'm dying. First time it happened I thought about calling 911 because I thought I was having a heart attack. Now I know it's just gas. Does this ever happen to anyone else? And what do you do about?

I'm only 3 weeks out and don't get much gas pain but when I do I use Gas X Strips. Recommended by a VSG friend who is a year out.

The few times that's happened to me it's been from eating dense Protein too quickly or not chewing thoroughly enough. I, like you, just lay flat on the floor until it passes, but it is quite excruciating. I don't think mine is gas though. I think it's actually "stuck" food and until the blockage breaks down and passes through it is extremely painful. I haven't found any solution other than to wait it out.
