So i ready for the weight loss

Ok today marks a month after sleeve surgery for me. I lost 38 pounds in the 1st couple of weeks. But that's been it. I walk all the time now and eat less then 1k calories meeting my 70 gram Protein goal. But the scale is not moving down at all. I have scheduled an appointment with nutritionist. But was wondering if anyone else had this same issue.

If by "this same issue" you mean unrealistic expectations about constant weight loss, yes, lots of people have it, just read the forums here.

Okay, seriously, yes virtually everyone stalls for a few weeks starting somewhere between weeks 2 and 4. Just Google "weight loss surgery 3 week stall" or "vsg third week stall" or anything like that. You'll see.

And random stalls will continue in your future no matter how well you follow your program. You can't let it freak you out. Stay off the scale if it is going to bother you.

Something that will probably NOT continue in your future is losing 38 lbs in 2 weeks -- so don't freak out if that doesn't ever happen again! Good luck.

None of us lose at a constant or steady rate. We all experience periodic stalls and almost everyone experiences a stall about three weeks after surgery.

Just follow your program. Focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids, and stay off the scale.

Almost every single WLS patient has a stall somewhere around the 3 week mark. It's known as the "Dreaded Week 3 Stall" and can last anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. Just focus on your program. Meet your Protein and Water goals. Take your Vitamins. And move around as much as possible. Put the scale away for a while.
