Meal prep! Who's with me?

@@Elode that cold plate looks yummy too. I kinda do the same thing just in portioned out containers. I have to or I won't stop at a slice of cheese or a 1/2 ounce of pork rinds...it's all weighed or portioned out.

Y'all are making me very impatient to get to the place where my sleeve will tolerate raw veg and fruit, as well as to the place where I could eat more than 1/4 of the teeny plate.

@@2goldengirl You'll get there and then you'll have the grand opportunity to worry about getting fat again. Enjoy the small portions now!

@@Elode - how much can you eat of dense food? A cup? I am curious you are ahead of me by a few months surgery-wise and I know I can eat a full cup (sometimes) depending on the food. Can you give me an example?

How are the "girls" looking size wise? I have REALLY thought about your recent "do" and I am thinking about it. Did BCBS Fed cover it?

@@jane13 dense food like chicken I can't do much of maybe 1/2 cup or couple ounces. It's hard on my stomach. Salads and light foods I can do well with. The girls are perfect! I haven't wore a real bra yet shit in the compression bra but I'd say 32 c. No none of my plastic were covered.

@@Elode Ok. Then I am eating about the same as you are, but some days the carb monster takes over and its like PMS munchies all freakin' day.
So no implants at all? Just a reduction/lift?

My GF did BA about 15 yrs ago (post WLS) and they put in small implants to keep the girls 'perky' longer.

I am not looking for forever perky, just not:

UU

As little as you are now, and from what I can tell in the pictures pre-op BA, a 32C is probably perfect - you LUCKY girl!

Looks fab! Though at only 7 weeks out, it would take me all day to eat one of those salmon boxes.

I've done up all of my lunches/dinners for the week as well...

They're all the same...

Poached salmon and broccolini...

Boring...

But better than next week's food...

That'll be five days of back to liquids...

Gonna try to kick the stall...

@@Elode

It's almost like 'broccoli lite'...

It's not as coarse or as strong flavoured as broccoli...

I'll try to post a pic when I get home tonite...

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
