ld33 94 Posted April 22, 2016 I think she can sense that mommy is in a little pain and not to mention I've been away in the hospital for two days. Did anyone else have small kids when you had the surgery? How did you fair? I also have a 10 and 15 year old that have been a great help while my husband is at work. It's breaks my heart when she's grabbing on me to pick her up
koddie 44 Posted April 22, 2016 Ya I have help so it's ok. But it is sad. We have an. Upstairs and the baby will want me to carry him down but I can't. Or take him out the car seat today and I couldn't. He sits on me n my chair and I hold him this way. It's hard but he will not be damaged from it is what I keep telling myself Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
cat.jackson89 206 Posted April 22, 2016 I have a 3,2,&1 year old. I'm 4 days post op today, and it is heart wrenching that my kids want me to get up and play, but we explained to them before I came home that Mommy was in the hospital, so I can't play right now. They seem to understand, because now they just ask to lay down in bed beside me. It is so sweet. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
