Monie717 183 Posted April 21, 2016 I can't keep my bariatric Vitamins down. Any suggestions? Brands? Maybe if I take them later in the day? These are Bariatric Advantage chewable.< /p> Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
LetItGo 73 Posted April 21, 2016 I ended up having to use the Vitamin Patches that are sold on this site. I use the mulitvitamin and the B12. Anything chewable made me projectile vomit.
nursejenny07 401 Posted April 21, 2016 (edited) It took me a while to get used to taking Vitamins. In the beginning, they would really upset my stomach, sometimes to the point I would vomit (even before surgery). Now, I tolerate them pretty well, but either take them after a meal, or at bedtime. I do best after a meal, usually about 30 min or so after I eat I take them and do well. I still, on occasion, will get a little queasy, but not too bad. Hopefully in time, as your body gets more used to them you'll tolerate them better. I currently do viactive chews for Calcium, 5000iu vit D, 2,500mcg sublingual B12c and a chewable Multivitamin.< /p> Edited April 21, 2016 by nursejenny07

I saw the Patches and thought that was cool, but wasn't sure how well they'd work.
