ExCookieMonster 34 Posted April 21, 2016 Hi! I'm one month post-op, and every time I eat even a bite more than I can take I throw up. Is this normal? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Christinamo7 4,042 Posted April 21, 2016 I do not know if it is normal or not, but there was a whole thread (the absolutely fabulous KindaFamiliar started it) about signals your body gives to tell you you're getting too full. perhaps that thread could help you find a signal to stop before that one bite too many? Shell ???? 224 Posted April 21, 2016 (edited) I think it's normal from what I've read it's more of a regurgitation that vomit and if you overfill yourself it comes straight back up Sent from my iPhone Edited April 21, 2016 by Shell ????
cbuck1212 17 Posted April 25, 2016 I measure out 1/4 cup of food and stop when it is gone. I know it takes 20 minutes for my stomach to catch up with what I ate and if I eat more I feel awful afterwards. I am four weeks post surgery. Hello new me 153 Posted April 26, 2016 Yes, completely normal for me. I had my surgery almost 9 months ago. I still have issues with vomiting if I eat to much. Thankfully, I have learned to slow down when eating. However, it still happens from time to time.
