elaina831 28 Posted April 19, 2016 Can anybody tell me why and is this normal? Sent from my SM-N920T using the BariatricPal App
KristenLe 5,979 Posted April 19, 2016 Always speak to your surgeon about any concerns BUT - if you are getting cramps in your legs or feet - it could be dehydration or a vitamin/mineral deficiency issue. Make sure to be getting at least 64oz of water/non-caloric beverages (no caffeine) a day, enough Protein and take your Vitamins. If you are at the stage you can have soft foods - try eating a banana and see if that helps. Keep us posted as to how you're doing!

HELP You can mix it into shakes, puddings, yogurt, etc. You can also reconstitute it with Water to make a paste (peanut butter).
TJBintheOC 104 Posted April 20, 2016 Totally normal. A nurse friend told me to get drops for my Water that contain magnesium and electrolytes. I got mine at Sprouts. I had terrible calf cramps. Good luck.
theladyslipper 120 Posted April 20, 2016 I totally had calf cramps & ended up stretch a lot & walking it out--weird. It stopped adventually. The worst was if my backer & duvet were tucked too tightly pushing my food down---then it would cramp. Good luck!!
