stephen643 0 Posted April 16, 2016 Hi all, I am a newbie here just starting to get familiar with the forums. I can't seem to find the DS forum on the app, so posting my question here. Anyway I am 9 days post op from DS and so far everything has gone great and easier than expected except the some bathroom issues. Have been having quite a bit of diarrhea which is mostly just Water, but it doesn't seem to be letting up. What has been your experience with this? I was on Protein shakes and Water and just now starting some purée foods. I have found the Popsicles make it worse so I avoid them. Just wanted to see what you all have experienced. OzRoo 1,492 Posted April 17, 2016 I am actually opposite to your experience. I only had the runs after my Barium Meal Leak test, in the hospital. Constipated since, but I got it under control. With diarrhoea, you need to watch out for Dehydration! Please call your surgeon or his team about your issue. Also, what type of surgery did you have ? Gastric Sleeve, Bypass .... ? Good luck.
