I am glad we aren't related. :)

(I know you meant "Lean Cuisines" -automatic spelling corrections can be funny)

It depends on your stage.

Pre-op, my NUT said Lean Cuisines, etc. we're fine but to add a bag of frozen vegetables (like broccoli) to make them healthier and more satisfying.

During my two-week pre-op diet which was high Protein, no starches/carbs I ate a lot of turkey breast, tuna, cheese, etc.

Now that I am post-op a year and on full foods, I still eat a lot of turkey breast, tuna, cheese, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, black Beans, chicken, etc.

Those packaged foods may be convenient but they are not only sometimes high in sodium, but they have other additives like MSG (or equivalents) which are not too good for us.

Can you buy a bunch of stackable freezer storage containers and make your own high Protein, healthier higher Protein versions using lean meats, chicken, fish, tofu, etc.? Make a few up at a time and after a few times you will begin to have a variety so you aren't eating the same lunch all the time. Also cook a little extra at supper and freeze the leftovers for lunch.< /p>

You will be eating healthier and your wallet will be getting a little fatter with the money you save (also your "Cousins" will be less stressed out around lunchtime :)).

I second what @@4MRB4PHOTO said. I work 12 - 18 hour days so I completely understand not having time to make healthy meals which is why I prep everything on the weekend. I have every lunch, dinner, and snack made for the week so I never have to worry about it. Having everything made and ready also means I can't use the excuse of not having something on hand to eat crap lying around at work. Plus, because I made everything, I know exactly what's in it. I've developed a bit of a tupperware collection! post-249376-14608261696885_thumb.jpg
