Seizures and Gastric Bypass

Does anyone have a seizure disorder prior to GB? If so, are your meds now effective afterward?

I take 1000 mg of Keppra every 12 hours for my simple partial seizures. I haven't had a single issue post-surgery that was March 21. I was worried about seizures because not eating was one of my worst "triggers". My surgeon explained to me how the brain re-sets itself since the stomach isn't sending it hunger signals. He was right! Not one single problem (knock on wood)! I may try messing around and slowly lowering it a few months from now. Right now, only 4 weeks out, I know my body is still reeling from everything.
