I think I would call my doctor about that. It may just be trapped gas, but with pain in chest or under breastbone, I wouldn't take any chances.

If it was on just one side, I would be more concerned. But since it's on both sides, I would think more trapped gas. If you are short of breath AT ALL get to the EMERGENCY ROOM. I'm sure it's just trapped gas though.

Very normal for me. Have my surgery in November and that is the only pain I had to deal with. I would get sharp pains in my side. Remember a lot was done in there even tho you have small holes on the outside. It will go away soon just walk all you can !! It truly helps.
