How does it work ?? Your surgeon submits your papers for approval? My doctor is confirming my insurance before I even come for a consult . What are the steps before you get a date?

Your surgeon is more than likely verifying that your insurance covers the surgery and if so. What are the requirements. Your insurance requirements normally dictate your path. Some plans require supervised visits, evaluations and other things, some don't.
