judymcd69 17 Posted April 12, 2016 Did I read somewhere that if your calorie intake is too little it will slow down your weight loss I have been in a stall for 3 weeks at least I am 6 weeks out and very seldom exceed 650 - 700 calories . I do get 80+ Protein grams and 70+ oz liquids. Anyone have answers
Daisee68 2,493 Posted April 12, 2016 Yes, that can be an issue especially if you are exercising a lot. Otherwise, a stall at 3 weeks is pretty normal. Could just be your body catching up. What carb and fat grams are you getting? Are you getting in all your fluids?
judymcd69 17 Posted April 12, 2016 Watching carbs and the rest closely. I am following all the rules to the nth degree and exercise is moderate
Babbs 14,681 Posted April 12, 2016 Yes, I have an answer. It's the normal stall that happens at 3 weeks out to almost all of us. You're not doing anything wrong, just stay the course and stay off the scale if this stall is going to drive you crazy. You are also probably still losing inches. This stall will pass very soon. I promise.
Gigirg 20 Posted April 12, 2016 I just had my three month check-up and the doctor said that around 1,000 calories is just about the "sweet spot". Any less, and your body will hold on to your weight as it goes into starvation mode.

BestDayEver 418 Posted April 12, 2016 Six weeks out is still very early to push calories in my opinion. Try to relax and know it will sort itself out. In time you will be able to eat more calories and for me, at 11 months out, I'm eating around 1200 a day give or take. At this stage focus on Protein and Water. The weight will come off in time.
