I ate thin crust pizza slice I was fine. I ate a fiery taco from Taco Bell I was fine. However, those are not good choices!

I want to make my own lunches for work but I don't need a lot.

I wondering what type of wrap y'all have tried or pita bread and how did it do?

I'm 4 months out and down 78 lbs that's with a 2 week stall which I broke a couple days ago.

Am I losing too fast? Was a 54 in my waist and now I'm a 40 and dropping. I think it's working to good!

78 pounds in 4 months is fine. Don't worry about losing weight too fast, your body will determine your rate of loss. You should probably lay off the bread. You will be in the "Weight Loss" phase for only a short time and then you will transition into the "Maintenance" phase. So you want to maximize your weight loss in the "Weight Loss" phase as much as you can and that means minimal bread consumption.

After RNY surgery, I went from a size 46 down to a size 32 in short order and from a size 3X in shirts down to a size Small. That was simple amazing. Again not a bad thing. I am 35 months post-op now and maintaining the weight loss. It means that I can buy clothes from department stores again.

Chili at Wendy's and a taco at Taco Bell is not nutritiously bad food. And when I am out and about that's what I go for. But wait until you have transitioned past the "Weight Loss" phase. The time you are in is very precious, don't waste it.

What I use and have been using for awhile is lettuce. I wrap whatever I'm having is some type of lettuce that I like. Romaine works great to wrap food in.

Rice blocks ur entire digestion so when ur in maintenance any more than a bite and ur in trouble thick bread is the same Small versions of things work for me pita minis rice cakes 1-2,fajita small circle etc but wait as long as you can u will figure out what makes u sick and what doesn't and then one day it won't work for u it's what ur body tells u so listen to it

What about using lettuce as your "tortilla" for wraps? Kind of like a Jimmy John's "Unwhich"

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
