ashleypriv 11 Posted April 10, 2016 I was getting intimate with my fiancé last night and upon entrance, it hurt like a m***f*****. There was foreplay and stimulation but for some reason I couldn't get ... You know... It even burt my fiancé. Has this every happened to anyone before? I'm 12 days out of surgery, incisions don't hurt anymore. Help!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Christinamo7 4,042 Posted April 10, 2016 I don't know that I've ever seen that as a side effect of surgery HOWEVER, there are a lot of crazy hormones post surgery and hormones play a huge effect. Next time have some ky on hand or coconut oil to help things along. I'd say if it was just an issue of dryness that should help make things more normal. daniotra 298 Posted April 10, 2016 Were you dry? When your hormones get out of whack you can have issues with lubrication. Find a good lubricant and see if that helps. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
ashleypriv 11 Posted April 10, 2016 Very dry. No matter what we did, didn't help. I'll look into a good lubricant, maybe it is my hormones, could it be dehydration? (Seems crazy to me but ya never know.) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Elode 8,093 Posted April 10, 2016 I can't answer that because had my husband tried any monkey business that soon after surgery the only thing that would have hurt would have been his face and pride. Ummmm NO! I'd say give it some more healing time. Your brain may say yes but even your vajaja is like "hell to the NO!" I'd listen to your body!
AJKMMC15 63 Posted April 10, 2016 Yeah this happened to my husband and I. I am 3 weeks post gastric sleeve... Once we started having sex, it hurt, the deeper he went. Never had that problem prior to surgery. I have no problem with dryness. I figured either I had to poop, or my intestines were still swollen on top of my uterus and cervix area. My incisions do not hurt, and are almost healed. You can barely see them. Told hubby, we need to give it a few more weeks... z06vette1 13 Posted April 10, 2016 Dehydration could exacerbate this. KY Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
ashleypriv 11 Posted April 10, 2016 It was just so strange and nerve wracking because I was never like this. Thank you everyone! We will hold off with sex until I think I feel 100% Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
daniotra 298 Posted April 10, 2016 Silicone lube is more slippy, and doesn't get as sticky as Some Water based lubes. There are some combo ones as well. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
juno5 30 Posted April 11, 2016 Maybe you have a yeast infection. Seriously...when we change so much up from our norm our bodies take a hit. Our immune systems do too. I say this from personal experience. I never ever had a yeast infection my entire life. Until march. And again april. I went in and saw my gyn. She said my immune system is low. miss_smiles 192 Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) Its probably a mix between dehydration and hormones. I know after a rough night of drinking - me hungover and dehydrated, and him ready to go like a dog in heat in the morning, my body says no no no - get off me. Haven't tried it yet after the sleeve, but if I was you I would put it on hold, or just grab some lube and have a try at it again. Also yeast infection is very possible, I started to have one, but thankfully it passed without needing attention.
