Miss Meg 199 Posted April 8, 2016 Does anybody find that being stressed can make their band feel a little tighter, and therefore interfere with what you can eat?? I have had a particularly stressful morning at work and having just tried to eat my lunch, I am struggling... Would this be a contributing factor to what I can or can't eat??? Dolores33778 248 Posted April 8, 2016 Absolutely. Stress makes me feel like I just had a fill. So just go back to the basics with liquids and soft foods so you are not over doing it.
Miss Meg 199 Posted April 8, 2016 Thanks @@Dolores33778, was beginning to bother me because I haven't felt that kind of thing before. As long as there is a fairly simple reason for it, I know I will get past it. xx
Dolores33778 248 Posted April 8, 2016 Yep, just go with it and enjoy the additional weight loss. Stress has helped me to maintain my loss for 3 years now. At least it has some benefits!
grammy4 17 Posted April 8, 2016 Yes! We were even told that at our pre-op seminars.
WLSResources/ClothingExch 3,444 Posted April 8, 2016 Many things affect the band's workings. It's too bad that it came as a surprise, but now you know.
Gaylene Davison 43 Posted April 9, 2016 Yes it sure can. I ended up in ER when my mum died. The band got so tight I couldn't swallow my own saliva! So I am very wary now when stressed.
