Aaadub 0 Posted April 7, 2016 I'm in my 13 week post op and was wondering if anyone has tried eating salad at this stage and what was the outcome?
Valentina 2,642 Posted April 7, 2016 What does your bariatric team say? Almost every team has a different program, so they are the ones that need to guide you as when it is OK for you to have a salad. Myself? I got so sick of everything sweet, that I blended a Tomato, cuke, chives, vinegar and oil until it was completely pureed and enjoyed my salad when I was in the pureed stage. I received my team's approval and enjoyed my "salad" twice a week until I got to solids. Now I have a regular salad with Protein whenever I want as a meal. Good luck! Don't you just love a good salad??
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted April 7, 2016 I had a hard time with salad greens and raw veggies until about 6 months out.
