breezy25 69 Posted April 7, 2016 Four days post op. No fever or any suspicious looking things on my incisions but I keep getting the chills. Is that normal? I just feel so fatigued and gross right now Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
BelgianGuy 350 Posted April 7, 2016 I think it's normal! More than half of your stomach is gone, the rest is swollen and you just had an anesthesia! I felt pretty tired and very very cold at least two weeks and a half after the surgery to be honest. It's a bad moment to go through, but it does not last long Cheers! breezy25 69 Posted April 7, 2016 Thanks for responding. I called the surgeons office and they said it can be normal but to keep an eye on it. She said that like 5 times so I didn't feel very comforted. I'm also nauseous even with zofran Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
jonesy837 1 Posted April 8, 2016 I'm 4 days post-op and I'm freezing. I don't know why Sent from my SM-G925V using the BariatricPal App
meatpie 25 Posted April 8, 2016 You are probably cold because you are not moving around as much as what you normally would be. You also are not warming yourself up with food, or the secondary thermogenic warmth your body creates to digest and process food..
melyssafaye 181 Posted April 8, 2016 I'm a week post op and also have times when I'm very chilled. No fever or anything. I guess is just normal.
