excitedforweightloss 40 Posted April 7, 2016 Yay! I finally got my surgery date. It will be May 2nd. I'm so excited/nervous. My surgeon doesn't require a liquid diet, just high Protein low carb for 2 weeks prior to surgery. He also informed me he does an EGD type test while you are under to check for leaks so you don't have to drink the nasty stuff to check for leaks after! Marona 13 Posted April 12, 2016 My surgery date is May 4th, we are all close in dates. Yes, I also am excited, scared & nervous too. Highest weight for me is 363, I've lost 45, but that took me 7 months. I'm so excited I can't sleep. Live in Alaska, my doc is 120 miles away, so I'm required to stay in town for 7 to 10 days after surgery, that part I'm not liking. Being in a hotel room trying to recover away from all the comforts of home. I'll be thinking of you... sending quick recovery wishes.
