Jennifree 16 Posted April 7, 2016 Just wondering if anyone has had one? I am 7 weeks post op, and have had non-stop tummy issues. My surgeon ordered an immediate endoscopy for tomorrow morning to see if that's my problem. I'm told that if that is, indeed, what's going on, they can fix it and I'll feel a lot better. I am hoping that is what's wrong, just to bring an end to my 24-hour constant feeling of fullness and nausea. valentinebaby78 9 Posted April 7, 2016 I had nausea up until recently. My surgery was Feb 22. It finally got better. What kind of issues are you having? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Jennifree 16 Posted April 7, 2016 Constant sour feeling in my pouch, difficulty keeping hydrated due to feeling of fullness all the time. Forcing fluids makes it worse. Protein Shakes make me feel sick afterwards. I can handle maybe 6oz of Fluid per hour. Have been on Zofran and Reglan- no help.
Jennifree 16 Posted April 7, 2016 UPDATE : Had my endoscopy this afternoon. They found an ulcer. So now I have a liquid med to drink an hour before eating and bed. It's supposed to help form a barrier over the wound so it can heal. I pray this works and heals. 7 weeks of feeling constant nausea and discomfort has been enough...
