That's a big one. Congrats! Just had mine resized for Valentine's Day. Down to a 5 and as I'm sitting here typing this, my engagement ring has "fallen" around so the diamond is facing down. Guess I'm going to have to go even smaller!

That was one of the last things I did. It can be really expensive having to rebuy clothes and resize rings :) Nice work. After a year at goal I also went and had my drivers license redone. At least that was only $20

BTW JamieLogical thanks for the tips on the combat crunch bars. My new favorite. I was never a fan of the Quest so it's nice to add in another brand that has so many flavors available.

I love them! The Cinnamon Twist are my favorite. The only thing I'd point out is if you are still losing, you might want to use them sparingly because they have slightly more calories and carbs than Quest. In maintenance I haven't had any issues at all with them. I have 2-3 a day now because I'm training for a half marathon and have to eat a ridiculous amount of food to not keep losing weight and they are very convenient.

Wow! Good for you!! Way to go!!! Yea, as it is, I have a Quest bar only when I have a sweet tooth, as I'm still trying to lose. Thank you and keep it up, you're a rockstar!!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
