2 week pre-op diet with Unjury or genepro

Recommended Posts

Hey guys. So I get Migraines from stevia, truvia, aspartame, Splenda (sucralose) etc.

I can't do the usual Protein prowders or shakes since the majority contain those sugars.

I'm going to try GENEPRO (3 tbsp per my nurse) and unflavored powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury for the next 2 weeks.

I'm thinking of doing genepro/Unjury shakes/smoothies (with low fat Greek yogurt), slushies, broth (flavored with ms. Dash) or flavored broth.< /p>

Any other ideas on how to switch it up?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure if you saw that on the unjury website they have a chicken Soup flavored Protein powder. The ingredients are below if you want to check to see if you can have it--I, too, get Migraines and have a lot of sensitivities. Good luck!

whey Protein isolate, hydrolyzed soybean/corn protein, salt, hydrolyzed corn gluten, soy lecithin, yeast extract, onion powder, garlic powder, disodium guanylate, disodium inosinate, spice and coloring (contains tumeric), modified cornstarch, spices and herbs, natural flavors.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
