livvsmum 2,369 Posted April 4, 2016 That is awesome! Great time too! I still remember how awesome it felt completing my first 5k. I've done lots of races since then, inluding much longer ones, but there was NOTHING like the feeling of completing that first 5k and realizing you were capable of doing more than you ever thought. Congratulations to you!
naturallysleeved 1 Posted April 7, 2016 I was #Sleeved on 3/1 (now down 25lbs ????) and I started training for an upcoming 5k (May 21) on Monday (4/4) per the Dr approval. I'm in soft foods stage until Tuesday (4/12) however, as you can imagine I'm hungrier because I'm back to working out. I'm concerned that this will stall and I won't lose, so I made an appointment with my nutritionist for Tuesday (4/12). How have you dealt with this? Being a sleever and runner? How many daily calories are "leftover" at the end of the day minus your workout? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
