stomach twitching and jumping

I can see my stomach physically jumping and twitching like a jumping heart. it's been 5 days after surgery. is this normal?

I didn't see mine jumping and twitching but I could certainly feel it. It's the spasms you go through after surgery. My surgeon gave me a medication to help with the spasms. If it's bothersome I would call your surgeons office and ask for something to help. If it doesn't bother you but is just weird I can tell you that it will go away eventually. Your new tummy is just figuring things out and healing.
