Uhc bariatric support group

I just received a call from my insurance company asking if I wanted to join their bariatric nurse program. I have a call next week will a nurse to go over the details but has anyone else heard of this

I retired from BCBS of Florida and they had Health Coaches who were nurses that would do that sort of thing......for certain health conditions.

Yes I had them too, they call you to check on you and to make sure the surgery is going well for you if u have questions! Also to know any complications or what Protein or Vitamins are working if they are not they do research for you! Is like an additional support line!

My policy says i have to go through their bariatric program. I'll do it if they'll cover it with only $2k or less out of pocket.

I have UHC and agree that it is like an additional support. They have been really good with me.

I needed to have a call with the UHC Optum Bariatric Service Center at the very beginning of my process. She just asked me questions and has been available to answer any questions I have.
