kmorri 1,689 Posted April 2, 2016 I retired from BCBS of Florida and they had Health Coaches who were nurses that would do that sort of thing......for certain health conditions.
agalindo17 331 Posted April 2, 2016 Yes I had them too, they call you to check on you and to make sure the surgery is going well for you if u have questions! Also to know any complications or what Protein or Vitamins are working if they are not they do research for you! Is like an additional support line!
courtney2016 5 Posted April 7, 2016 My policy says i have to go through their bariatric program. I'll do it if they'll cover it with only $2k or less out of pocket. Sent from my SM-G900P using the BariatricPal App
Steph~L~16 168 Posted April 7, 2016 I have UHC and agree that it is like an additional support. They have been really good with me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
GranadoM74 41 Posted April 7, 2016 I needed to have a call with the UHC Optum Bariatric Service Center at the very beginning of my process. She just asked me questions and has been available to answer any questions I have.
