finallyfree! 84 Posted April 3, 2016 Thanks all for condolences. We are all in shock, so sudden, so young. Well, tomorrow is sleeve day for me. I have made my Soups (tofu makes a Soup creamy but is protein), bought my drinks, dogs are suspicious as both are wearing collars, cats arent worried so long as they get fed. I am nervous but have all of you as inspiration, so what is my affirmation going in? 'My body is going to love this'. Let you know how I go.

finallyfree! 84 Posted April 4, 2016 Hi all, i am now 7 hours post op and only lost my dignity, lol. Op a success and as an added bonus repaired an unknown hernia while in the neighborhood! I was really scared pre op and did my meditation breathing and chose to watch the acquarium fish loop rather than tv as following one liilt fish mesmerised me. Full cocktail of drugs in me so only discomfort. Been up once to little girls room. Drew on your support and got teary when parked prior to theatre. Surgeon came in limping and holding his back but very bright and confident. Seems he has done a good job and hospital is good. Might have a nap now. Affirmation, being wheeled into theatre, What makes you think God woulnt set aside a little time to look after you? You are importantto Him too. Thanks for the TLC. 2twinkle 86 Posted April 5, 2016 To select an affirmation I look for the most glaring defect in myself and think of how I would like to become. Since I have a history of incest, one of my favorites is: "I am safe." As for my process, I get an empty note book and write the affirmation down and anything else that pops up. If I have negative self talk, I cross out the negatives and continue to write my affirmation. I do this until I can write a full page with no negatives. Then it becomes 'mine' and I say the affirmation to myself out loud while I am walking. Some of my favorite affirmations are: I am a beautiful and loving woman. I am capable and dependable. I walk in balance and harmony. People really like to be around me. I am a healer and a peacemaker. Today is fabulous.
LEILE 66 Posted April 8, 2016 I always had a lot of regrets about my past, and I carried a heavy load figuratively and literally. I think for many years I felt like I was a walking mistake. My favorite affirmation is: God doesn't make mistakes.
2twinkle 86 Posted April 11, 2016 Try this: "I am more beautiful every day"
