BCs 1000 364 Posted March 28, 2016 I make my own Seitan. I then use it in various recipes to substitute meat. It has a heap of Protein. http://40aprons.com/seitan-ground-beef/ http://www.buzzfeed.com/mathewg5/29-ass-kicking-recipes-for-homemade-seitan-dst2#.ap7PPOej6j I also eat a lot of Tofu and some commercial veg food like Linda McCartney. I love legumes, but even six months out I can't eat enough of them to meet my Protein goals. 1 Knittychic reacted to this
IncredibleShrinkingMan 437 Posted March 28, 2016 tuna salad (and tartare), pimento cheese, hummus (limited oil), chicken liver pate, egg salad. I fell in love with these during puree and soft food stage even though I am no vegetarian.
Djmohr 6,965 Posted March 29, 2016 Dang.....I had a whole list of things but they are not vegetarian! My favorite snack is something I really never cared much about before surgery. Bacon! I love bacon now. There is nothing better than a piece of baked crisp salty bacon. Mmmmmm......
