SweetPeas 117 Posted March 27, 2016 I took off three weeks. Like you I have a desk job. The first couple of days were tiring, but after that it was noticeably better each day. I could probably have gone back sooner but had a post-op infection that delayed the process.
BeautifulSwans 8 Posted March 28, 2016 @shortstuff4ever I will most likely be doing about 7 days off too! I have a desk job too! Let me know how it goes the first few days back at work! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
Daisee68 2,493 Posted March 28, 2016 Even with desk job, I was off 2 1/2 weeks. The first few days back, I was especially tired. If you can find a way to take a 10-15 minute break and go to your car and rest and/or rest at lunch, it might help. Good luck! Make sure to focus on fluids and getting up and moving every once in a while. Those were definitely challenging for me.
