DeletedMember 715 Posted March 28, 2016 I think you'll find that the liquid diet post-op is no problem. You aren't hungry at all, and you're bound to be a little sore. You may miss eating, generally speaking, but you shouldn't be miserable. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
stevencornell69 107 Posted March 28, 2016 Thanks MSUJester. I have to admit the hardest part pre-op is still being hungry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thucydides 250 Posted March 28, 2016 Without question, I found the pre-op diet (which lasted 4 weeks for me) to be much more difficult than the post-op one. I was so grateful that the surgery went well and that I had no hunger, I didn't even think about the fact that I was on an all liquid diet after surgery (even during Thanksgiving!). Best of luck with your surgery!

TX302 3 Posted March 29, 2016 Like others stated post-op is a breeze, the hunger drive is gone. The bigger challenge now is getting enough liquid in, stay hydrated and keep a heat pad handy for the gas pains. Relax as much as possible, it gets easier and better each day and once the gas works itself out of your system you'll be good as gold.
