Yes it is a long drive but it costs so much less than a plane ticket from here. I can't believe how much they want for those. I bet you are excited about your band. I had to wait like 2 months because he was going on vacation and it was agony waiting that long. Now I am excited about my first fill in a couple weeks.

OK - it's official! My consultation with Dr. K went great and I love that he answers all questions, even my funny and really dumb ones! I have my flight and car all set up for my surgery day on 9/5! I'm feeling good about this and I feel like I am prepared.

DH and I are flying in Sunday night to do some sight-seeing before the big day and then leaving Saturday morning. I think I've given myself plenty of time and I'm really looking forward to not being in hot, sticky Florida for a while!
