Just starting out

I am just starting this process. Next month is my seminar, then the consult.

I am looking for someone to mentor me on this. My bff has a lap band so I do get a little help from her but it's obvious not the same.

I just need someone to bounce things off of and advice etc

I think you will find this forum, in general, to be a great place to find support and answers to your questions. There are people here in every stage of the process, and no matter what you want to know someone has experienced it and will be willing to share.

Shriner37 is absolutely correct. I have garnered tremendous support even if it was just reading that I wasn't the only one who felt a certain way. When you have your surgery date, you will find others who are having surgery either the same day or the same week. I found it comforting to be in touch with others going through the same healing process and adjustments I was. Feel free to message me.
