kmuro 24 Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) I had my surgery February 16th and have only lost 23lbs so I'm a little bummed. You all are doing so much better. I feel like I'm doing something g wrong but can't pinpoint it. Just remember slower weight loss means less saggy skin Edited March 29, 2016 by kmuro
madeline121 43 Posted March 29, 2016 I really hope I have less saggy skin then. Lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
thegentleoso 65 Posted March 29, 2016 I was sleeved on 2/16, and I am down 36 pounds. Including my pre-surgery weight loss, I am down 66 pounds. I just bought a pair of pants that were 12 inches smaller than when I started my journey. They were a little snug, but I was able to where then out. The next size up fit ok, but I knew in a week or two, they will probably be big on me!
pjames123 31 Posted March 30, 2016 I also had my surgery on February 25th but I am only down 40 pounds so far. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G530AZ using the BariatricPal App

Ilanna 5 Posted March 30, 2016 I am also so tired and weak feeling and I am hurting in my back just started the last day or two has anyone else been hurting? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G530AZ using the BariatricPal App Did you have back problems before your surgery? I did. They went away for a while as I lost weight but now that everything is moving around and I'm carrying myself differently they've flared up again. My doc says it's just temporary, although it's annoying and painful as hell. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
pjames123 31 Posted March 30, 2016 Yes, but it wasn't very bad but now it really hurts it's probably like what you went through everything moving around. Thank you that makes me feel better. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G530AZ using the BariatricPal App

gingeryank 37 Posted March 31, 2016 Today is 5 weeks for those of us sleeved on 2/25. I've only lost 18 lbs since surgery (and 18 before). Doesn't seem like much compared to everyone else. Hoping the weight loss picks up after 6 weeks as my surgeon promised. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
ewalter31 2 Posted March 31, 2016 Very happy for those of you who have lost a bunch your first month. I had my surgery on February 22 and have only lost 17 lbs. feeling disappointed. My dr. Said I would lose slower since I only 213. To begin with. Wishing I could see scale move.. gingeryank 37 Posted March 31, 2016 @@ewalter31 I began my journey at 212 and have lost 18 lbs. Maybe we do just lose slower. I have 40 lbs left to lose, and sometimes I forget that I'm already (nearly) halfway there if you include my pre-op loss. Hang in there! LMSWNYC 119 Posted March 31, 2016 My surgery was on 2/17 and I am down 29 pounds included 10 pounds lost during pre-op diet. I am still experiencing dizzy spells usually in the morning and evenings. I feel very tired after work and do not have much energy for house chores once i get home. I basically pack my food for the next work day and get ready for bed. I am eating puree foods and 2 Protein skakes a day. I think my progress is good overall for 6 weeks post op. It feels so good to be able to control my portion size.
